Please feel free to use the form below to get in touch or email me at julie.sedinkina@gmail.com
Terms and conditions ( not necessarily fun but essential! )
Deposit and payment
Clients will receive an invoice shortly after discussing the booking. A non refundable 50% deposit must be paid to secure the session. The other part of the payment must be received a week prior to the session date ( 2 weeks if it’s a wedding ). Payments can be made via cash, e-transfer or Paypal.
Model release
I grant The Photographer, Julia Sedinkina, the right to photograph myself, my family and my property. I authorise The Photographer to copyright, use and publish the images taken either electronically or in print. I agree that The Photographer may use the images for any lawful purpose - publicity, advertising, web content and competitions.
Refunds
If your images are damaged or lost for any reason prior to complete delivery of the photographs, The Client would receive the full refund.
No refunds will be given for dissatisfaction with your images.
Delivery of images
Images would be delivered within 2 weeks of the session date ( sometimes sooner ). Prints and framed art works would take another two weeks.
Client usage
The Client’s images are for personal use only. The should not be altered in any way ( including usage of filters ) and must not be submitted to contests or reproduce for commercial use.
Social Media
I always kindly ask my clients to credit me ( as a tag or in comments ) when sharing images on social media platforms, as word of mouth is greatly appreciated.
Weather and illness
I am happy to reschedule the session to the next available date in the above events.
Cancellation
In an unlikely event of cancellation ( which has never happened before ) The Photographer reserves the right to keep the deposit.
If the Photographer is unable to perform due to illness, emergency, fire, accident etc, the Client and The Photographer shall discuss rescheduling the session. If it is still not possible, The Photographer would return the deposit and have no further liability.
Delivery of files and storage
The Client would be able to download hand edited high resolution files delivered by The Photographer via WeTransfer ( a website that allows its users to upload and download numerous large files ). The download link would only be available for a week. Once the files are downloaded I strongly advice my clients to back up the images on ( at least two devices ) - an external hard drive, a memory stick or a disc and Dropbox or Google Drive or Icloud. This doesn’t happen often but I experienced both a memory stick and an external hard drive failures and I would not want this to happen to any of my clients.
Once edited digital files and prints are delivered I only keep the images until I post them on my website and social media channels ( provided this is in an agreement between myself and The Client ), therefore it would not be my responsibility to keep the above mentioned files post delivery date.
Additional editing
If The Client requires additional editing to the images delivered, an hourly rate would be applied.
Unedited images
My galleries are edited to my style that is consistent throughout, and clients tend to visually connect with it and require the same look.
I never provide raw ( unedited files ), or deliver all of the images taken on the day, as I select the best for editing.
